Pont des Arts

Yesterday I stumbled upon Pont des Arts. I'd been meaning to go anyway and then just sort of found myself there. It's a footbridge next to the Louvre where couples have taken to inscribing their initials on padlocks and securing them to the bridge before chucking the keys in to the Seine. This really is the most romantic city in the world. To add a nice touch of irony there was a couple sitting on one of the benches in the midst of a break up.
